Implementing Change In Response to Pandemic Covid-19
Dear Reader,
In the coronavirus situation, there are many people with different perspectives on how to deal with it, locally, nationally and internationally. There is a process that has been used worldwide to address difficult situations. It is available in my new book, CREATING GLOBAL PEACE AND SUSTAINABILITY, which is available now from Amazon and Barnes and Noble, or the publisher Xlibris.
This process invites input from everyone from executives to janitors to the homeless. All are included. The process begins with a detailed assessment of the Current Situation. Next it invites envisioning of what the Ideal Situation would be like at a point in time in the future. Third it has a process for creating a detailed Plan on what to do including Goals, Actions, Measures of progress, Who is Responsible, Cost/Benefit, and linking them together in a user friendly process that all can understand and use. And finally it has a Daily Implementation Process for facilitating and assuring that the Plan is actually implemented. Then there is a means to update the process if and as new information and experiences occur.
There is a Facilitator for this process, someone who encourages and enables input from individuals, groups and organizations of all kinds. The Facilitator’s responsibility is to present the process in a manner that all can understand and use. The Facilitator is not a leader who expects everyone to follow what she or he says. Input from every perspective is not only expected, but necessary, because not only leaders, but each and every person has something to offer. Unknown, unexpected and necessary information is needed from every possible source. There is no charge for learning the process, but donations are welcome.
Facilitators are needed now to be trained in and learn the process online – at no cost.
Groups can be of almost any size. This has been done with groups of two, and a group of four hundred. The focus of these gatherings can be a family, a neighborhood, a rural community, cities of all sizes, nations, and more. Using Zoom or a similar process is the means by which these gatherings can occur. In the future it will work better to have participants gather together in one location.
You can learn much more about the process by reading the book which is available in paperback or electronically now.
Details for ordering the book, and any questions, comments, and donations, are welcome
It is my belief that this book and the process outlined here will enable the identification and use of effective actions to deal with the pandemic.
In peace, Charles A. Skinner
